Event Highlights

Race date for 2018 is November 24th.

All races run entirely on naturally winding, rolling grass surface. All courses will be fully set up and open for preview starting at noon on Friday.

A race for everyone. Events vary between 4k (Youth Girls) and 10k (Senior races) and include an open community race. All races are run on repeat loops of either a 2k or 2.5k loop.

Extremely spectator friendly. Start and finish lines are 80m apart, each race has the runners passing within sight of the start/finish area 4 times for each loop. Scenic backdrop looking out over Fort Henry and Kingston to Lake Ontario and Wolfe Island. On site announcers Kevin MacKinnon and Michael Rochus will be providing updates and background information on the athletes and events.

NOTE: The kit pick up will be located in the East Ballroom at the Ambassador Hotel this year. Just down the hallway from the Atrium where we held kit pick up the past two years (just follow the signs.)

Returning for 2018:
1) AWARDS: all awards ceremonies will be held on site.
2) SHUTTLE: There will be a shuttle running between the Ambassador Hotel and the race site. The shuttle will run from 1pm to 4pm on Friday, November 23rd and from 8am to 6pm on race day. The bus will leave the Ambassador hourly on the hour and will leave the race site hourly on the half hour. Travel time between the two sites is approximately 15min.

A plethora of swag available for purchase from Race Merchandise, don't forget to bring CASH $$.

Race kit pick up:
Friday, November 23rd at the AMBASSADOR HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTRE from 3pm until 7pm (1550 PRINCESS ST, KINGSTON).
If you are unable to pick up your race kit at on Friday, you can get it on site on race day.

Did we mention the after party? Seriously, you don't want to miss this (licensed event, must be 19 to get in.)

Latest News

We are thrilled to announce that Run Ottawa is once again sponsoring the prizing for the Senior Mens and Womens team event. Run Ottawa is the National Capital Region’s premiere running organization and the organization behind the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend and their flagship event of the weekend, the Scotiabank Ottawa Marathon. They boast not one but two IAAF Gold label events in their roster of races.

Thanks to their support, we are providing a cash award of $2,000 to the winning club team in both the Senior Men's and Women's races.
In 2017 the winning teams were Speed River (Men) and Physi-Kult (Women).
Will the PK women four-peat? Can Speed River defend their title?

The victorious Senior teams will also receive a prize pack courtesy of Kichesippi Beer, one of the Run Ottawa partners.
